Adamina
What do you think of Adamina, the rarely used feminine form of Adam? I used to think it was silly, but now when I say it to myself a few times, it's actually rather pretty. And isn't Addie as a nickname all the rage these days? So it comes with a ready made nickname! What do you think of Adamina? Is it usable, or silly?

It's stupid.Seeing that it's a made-up English-only female form, it sounds dumb.

I say usable. Very very usable. I think Adamina, while obviously a feminine form of Adam, also feels very in line with frilly feminine names. I'm thinking ___ina's and ___ia's. And you are right that Addie is all the rage. You know what, I think I like Adamina.

I try to shake the awkwardness of -ina slapped onto a masculine name, but it's so glaringly obvious to me that I just can't. Same goes for Thomasina, Jamesina, etc. However, other obvious feminizations such as Roberta, Bernadette, Victoria, etc. don't bother me at all. Perhaps because they get more use?

I love Adamina! I think it's sad that a Madison knock-off like Addison is so popular, while pretty Adamina is so ignored. Definitely not unusable or silly.

Something about Adamina lacks appeal while at the same time almost seeming interesting in a GP sort of way... may be good as a comic book character or something.

I think it's pretty. I think of it more as Ada+Mina than Adam+Ina, it makes it feel more feminine to me. Definitely usable to me.

I don't think it's silly at all. It's sweet, but I slightly prefer the nn Minnie.

I love the spirit and gravitas of Adamina. I prefer Mina as a nickname, though.
