No, sorry. I grew up with a boy named Blaine, so it's all boy to me.

I prefer it on boys. My cousin's name is Blaine Patrick.

I think this name is ugly, regardless of which sex it's on. I dislike Blake, Blaine, and Blaise all equally, and probably other names that start with that "Bla" sound as well. They always just sound like ideal names for some thick-faced idiot teen guy on a soap opera or after-school show.

It's a letter away from being sound-alike to "bane"--as in "the bane of my existence." Ick--whether on a girl or a boy, it's ugly.Array

I don't think it would be cute for either gender, especially not for a girl. Dislike it.

Blaine will always remind me of a preppy male teenager thanks to Pretty in Pink. Trying to keep in mind your tastes, what about:
Laine
Sloane
Blake
Brynn
Blythe
Finlay
Quinn
Reese
Hayden
Morgan
Delaney
Mason
Skylar

Hayden, Blake, Morgan, Finley, Sloane, many are boy's names.

I was trying to take her style into consideration. Furthermore, I do not consider surnames (as many of the ones listed are) to have a gender.

It is a cute name but I don't really like it for a girl the same with Blake, Blair, Blaise, and Blythe, they are all rather boyish to me although I do know people who like them better on girls.
