Tyler
Used to hate it with a passion but met a really nice one yesterday and it has been growing on me a little. Opinions on Tyler?Oh and if you had to choose: Taylor or Tyler?Which name is more common (your feeling, personal impression - not statistics).

I like it, but it definitely strikes me as late 80s and 90s trendy. I've met a lot of Tylers, so even though it sounds energetic to me, it still doesn't seem all that interesting.I'd use Tyler rather than Taylor since Taylor is still popular for girls these days where I live.

I like it. But I lived in Tyler, Texas for four years, and that kind of killed Tyler as a personal name for me.I have the impression that Tyler is more common for boys than Taylor is. I've never known either a Tyler or a Taylor.

It's fine. Not my style, a little too surnamey and too 1970s styled. First time I heard it was on a dog in the 70s. But it's much better than Taylor. Taylor seems more common in my experience, but it might just seem that way because I dislike Taylor and so I notice it more.

I think it's a nice name. It's rather common, but I still like it.I'd definitely choose Tyler (assuming this a boy).Taylor for a girl, Tyler for a boy,

Too common for my tastes.Nice name, though.

I dislike it. I feel like it's bland and has no impact. It's one of those names that makes me think the parents put no effort into naming their child (even though that may not be the case.)I wouldn't use Taylor or Tyler. Taylor because I have a negative association with it. But Tyler is definitely more common.

Tyler is still too common for me. My graduating class had three of them out of just 73 students.

In my experience, Taylor is more common for girls and Tyler is more common for boys. If I had to choose... assuming it's for a boy, Tyler. Assuming it's for a girl... neither, preferably. Taylor is pretty tired feeling to me.
It's not bad. Pretty boring to me but the sound is okay. There was a 4 year old Tyler in something I wrote and he was darling. But I chose the name because of it's popularity in his age group and not because of some association I had.
