Hadraniel
What would your impression be if you met a person (likely a male) named Hadraniel? What would be your thoughts on the name?

I'd expect him to be a magician ;)

It's not very pleasant either in looks or in sound, imo. If I saw it written, I'd wonder if he were named after Hadrian and Daniel.

You say it isn't made up, and fair enough - but it still does look, at least, in passing like a smush name. It's interesting, but not my style. It would be awful on the odd chance it were a female Hadraniel.

I would inwardly chuckle to myself, thinking he had stepped out of a fantasy video game or movie.

I would think it was a bad and weird smoosh of Nathaniel/Hadrian or Hadrian/Daniel.
I don't like it.

I would wonder if it was a name of an elf in one of Tolkien's books. It's sort of cool name, but little too... elf-y and airy for me.

Hadraniel? Never heard that one before.Honestly, I would think the parents were big fantasy geeks, or something. It sounds like that kind of name.

That he has a made-up name, some weird smushing of Hadrian and Daniel.

Sounds medical to me. A hadraniel hemmorhage or something.
