Wdyto Thaddeus?
Was wondering the overall opinion of this name. I have been tossing it around. I like Thad for short. Just not sure if it is too much of a name ??

I love Thaddeus! I also like Thad for short. I love the meaning, and I love how bookish it is. Personally, I kind of love names that are "too much" or would be considered pretentious by some. I mean, picture a little five-year-old Thaddeus. How adorable. And it has Thad built right in to give him a less fussy option if he wants it.

It's fine! I've met a couple of Thads. I don't personally care for the sound of it, but people are using Maximus and Titus and Julius and Augustus ... it's not too much of a name at all.

It's a 'big-butt' name. When I hear it, I think of the sound of someone thumping their big butt on the floor: THAD. Not appealing.

It's my favourite name! I don't like the nicknames though.

I love Thaddeus, and I'd love to see it get used more often. I'm not too keen on Thad, but there's little else that I could think of that would be better as a nickname.

I kind of like it, but I knew a boy by this name when I was in school and he hated it and went by TJ. It's a bit awkward for someone in reality, I think.
