I grew up in a neighborhood with a high Hispanic population, and among them Adriana was one of the most common names, so I heard it a lot as a kid. Even so, I think it has a very nice sound. I vacillate between Adriana and Adrianna sometimes. Some combos off the top of my head:Adriana Lilith
Adriana Lily
Adriana Lisette
Adriana Mafalda
Adriana Mared
Adriana Merritt
Adriana Muriel
Adriana Pearl
Adriana Rose

I loved Adriana when I was a kid. The first time I heard it was on my stepmother's favorite soap, Santa Barbara, when Eden and Cruz (the power couple) had a baby they named Adriana. I thought it was gorgeous. I still like it, but I now prefer Adria and Adrienne. Adriana Zoe
Adriana Brooke
Adriana Ruby
Adriana Marissa
Adriana NoelleEh. It's surprisingly hard to work with.

It's a perfectly fine name, and I can even see the beauty in it, but for some reason I just don't like it. It even seems a tad dated to me- 90s/early 00s- maybe because it's a lot like names I grew up with. It also gives me an image of an overly-tanned, rich teen girl who thinks she's God's gift to Earth. Sorry!

I've known two.And I didn't like either of them. :-D They were completely different, too. It's too bad, it's a pretty name but I can't get those two out of my mind. :-(Adriana Nicole is the only combo that is coming to me today.

Adore. But my sis had a crazy friend named Adriana so it's hard not to think of someone so vibrant. And it's kind of a bad association since she went crazy and did a lot of drugs and died in a ditch or some such Jerry Springer business. But still, completely gorgeous name.I was always partial to:Adriana Josephine

Love Adrian for a boy, Adrienne for a girl. Adriana is just a tad flowery for me, but still not a bad name at all.
