I wish I understood why this name makes me think of a breathless lipsticked woman with a plunging neckline. It also looks like the word evade. It's alright, I am just not feeling it.

I like Evadne. I tend to like Eve-related/similar names (can't actually think of one I don't like.) This is unusual, mysterious, definitely pretty. And you get all of the Eve-related nicknames, too, which is a plus in my book.

I like it. It definitely sounds strong, and feminine without being overdone. You'd have to like the nicknames Eve, Eva, Evie, etc. though, because I think they're a bit inevitable.

Its a feminine name but not too frilly. Lots of potential nicknames for a little girl, and its sophisticated enough for a grown woman. Its great!

I never liked it. It sounds like it's trying too hard.

I like it. I love Ev names anyway (my favourite girls name is Eve) and this is a particularly pretty one. I might worry that people wouldn't be able to pronounce it easily, though, as it's rather unusual and the spelling is somewhat unintuitive.

I don't really care about the suicidal origins--the name is very pretty! Strong, refined, unique but not outrageous. Very sturdy but feminine.
