Er, no, I don't think it's a nice name! Memories of my high-school science teacher, who was incompetent and, in self-defence probably, a martinet, ruined it for me for ever, and not even my friend's very pleasant little dachshund can convince me otherwise. It's a good dachshund name, though - it wiggles!
