Middle names for Sarena
Any ideas? We've already decided on Marcus Levi for a boy, but I'm really stumped on middle names that work with Sarena. The second syllable is a long e, if that matters, and her last name will be Baskin. So far, all I've thought of was Sarena Elinor, but DH hated it, so I'm back to the drawing board.

I agree with the others that Sarena makes me like the name much less and it's one of my faves! It means 'serene' so Serena makes sense to me. Even Sarina (diminutive of Sara) would be lovely. Anyway, that's all I'll say about that. Since Serena is one of my faves, these are the mns I've tossed around to pair with it:Charlotte
Joy
Juliet
Madeleine
Margaret
MarielleThese are the names of my dds and I think they'd complement the name as well:Caroline
Catherine
VictoriaEven these names, as common as they are as mns, would sound nice with the name:Ann / Anne
Elisabeth / Elizabeth
Grace
JaneHope this helps.

Serena Vivien is my favorite.Sarena / Serena is a gorgeous name. Great choice. Is there a reason to spell it Sarena instead of Serena? It means "serene" so spelling it with an "a" at the beginning puts me off a bit. But perhaps it's a different origin. Any info you've got would be appreciated. :-) Others you might like:Sarena Lily / Lillian

I'm not sure why that spelling, exactly. I think the baby's daddy kind of made it up or maybe he saw it in a video game somewhere (there's a bit of an age gap between us). All I know is that he is dead set on that name, that spelling. We agreed, though, that since he came up with the first name, I would get to decide on the middle, to an extent. I actually love quite a few of these names, especially Sarena Kate and Sarena Clare. I also like Sarena Caroline, which fits in quite nicely with my idea for a classic middle name to go with what feels, to me, like something of a frilly first name.If it helps any, though, he has also requested that I choose a Japanese middle name for a daughter. I checked behindthename's Japanese database, but the only one that really struck my fancy was Sarena Aimi.

Well... I have a friend named Serena and her middle name is Piril (it's Turkish and might have some sot of strange letter)
