Dmitri / Dimitri
1. What are your thoughts on this name and which spelling do you prefer? I myself prefer Dmitri.
2. What are nicknames you would use or have heard used with this name?
3. What are some middle names that pair with either spelling nicely?
4. Would you ever actually use this name?

My bf's brother is named Dmitriy.
And I don't know if I have a favourite spelling. I think I would just prefer the spelling that is most relevent to the culture the persom is from. The Dimitriy I know is Russian and his family calls him Dimka. I assume that is how you spell it. I've never seen it written down.
I also like Mitya.I've always liked it and I would use it if it were suitable to the child's ethnicity, but not otherwise.

1. I like it but it's a bit too Russian for me to use. I prefer Dimitri, because Dmitri is just not done when you live outside of Russia.
If I could, I'd choose Demetrius.2. Dimi3.

1. I prefer Dimitri, because to me Dmitri looks like it's missing a letter. I really like Dimitri though.
2. I haven't heard any, and I probably wouldn't use any.
3. Dimitri Feodor, Dimitri Pavel, Dimitri Pascal, Dimitri Radomir, Dimitri Spirodon, Dimitri Valentin
