Opinions on Beckett
It seems that most of my name crushes start with a dream and this is no exception. I had a dream where I had a son named Beckett about a month ago and it has been on my mind ever since.I've become a bit more lax with the 'surnames should stay as surnames' bit over the past year so that doesn't bother me too much.WDYT of Beckett?Combo suggestions would be much appreciated :)
Thanks!

I briefly considered it for my last child, but husband thought it was too depressing). I like: Beckett Oliver
Beckett Elihu
Beckett Elias

Oh Beckett Oliver is wonderful! Oliver was my number two name for years but recently I've been worn down by the sheer number of young Olivers here in Australia. It's lost its shine but I still adore it and it is perfect in the mn spot. Thanks!

It only makes me think of Thomas Beckett. So if you think he's a cool historical figure, then I think it would be a nice association to have. It sounds a bit trendy, but it's not bad.

It's saved for me by the playwright Samuel Beckett, and the fact that he wrote some of the most bizarre, f8cked up plays I've ever read. So, it's nms, but he makes it seem edgy and creative to me.

Yeah, Samuel Beckett is one of the reasons I like it :)I'm not sure I'd ever really use it, it isn't usually my style. But my boy's list was feeling stale and boring and everything usually 'my style' just wasn't cutting it.

Beckett...... I think I like it! I had never considered previously but I do like the hard sounding Beck and same with the second syllable Ett. Beck would totally work for a nn, hopefully not too many would tease or add the Becky association to him.Beckett Andrew
Beckett Thomas
Beckett Reese
Beckett Maxwell
Beckett Arthur
Beckett Eli
Beckett Chandler
Beckett Ethan
Beckett Neo
Beckett James
Beckett Darryl
Beckett Hamlin
Beckett Hayden
Beckett Ivan
Beckett Joel
Beckett Keller
Beckett Paul
Beckett Samuel
Beckett WilliamThis was harder than I thought, I usually dont struggle with mn's so much. Maybe that means the name isnt as usable as I thought.
Beckett Andrew and Beckett Joel are prob my only favs or usables.

I think it sounds nice enough. I prefer use of only family surnames as FN's (that's where I draw my line), but Beckett is less eye-rolling than many.

Beckett Maxwell is so handsome! I also like Beckett Afon, mainly because of the similar meanings of the two names.Beckett Tiberius is awesome in a very GP way. Very cool...Thanks!
