Hate, sounds like the word warrin'. Also, it's a surname.

It's not one of my favorites, but I could definitely respect someone using it.

I don't like Warren, precisely because it reminds me of "warring".Warrick's better imo. There's Warwick too, but for some reason I don't like its sound as much as I do Warrick.

No, problem :) Probably just an accent difference or something. I never pronounce "and" as "and", it's always "in", lol, so I got it right away.

I like it. I admit it does sound a bit dated but that's not always a bad thing. I think it's still up for use. And I'd like hearing it on a child. All in all, I think it's a nice, stable name that isn't used enough.

I like it a lot.You never hear Warren, but it has a great sound. When I hear it, I think of Warren Zevon, the musician best known for "Werewolves of London." Warren's a great name because it straddles geeky and cool really well; on the one hand, it sounds like a pocket-protector kind of guy, but on the other, a Warren could definitely be head of the football team or voted "Best Party" in the yearbook. Warren's great, in other words. ArrayETA: It also has the possibility of the nn Wren, and I love Wren on a boy! Warn and Ward would be other possibilities.

I get the whole Warren Peace joke :) I used to like Warren a lot, probably because the character on Empire Records just cracked me up. Not a big fan of it now but it's not a horrible name.Pos. nn of Ned is pretty cool, we don't get to many Neds these days!
