Milo
WDYT of the name Milo for a little boy?Not Miles. We can't use Miles as it's a family member's name and we don't care to honor him.

I love the name Milo. But I think perhaps it sounds more like a pet name then for a person. Just reminds me of Ottis and Milo. But I really love the name.

I like it but it's my dog's name. My dog is my first child, though. :)

Miles and Milo are so close, I personally would still feel like its honoring that family member. I wouldnt be able to use it under that situation, and some family may still think you are honoring Miles, just using a little different name, which people do quite often. On Milo itself, it isnt a name to me, it doesnt sound complete.~~Kris~~

Hmm it's a cute name for a little boy but if I met a grown man called Milo... not sure.
Also - as it's so similar to Miles, might people not think you were honouring that family member anyway, albeit in a slightly jazzed-up fashion?

The truth is, I have met the right person, only he's not in love with me, and until I stop loving him no-one else stands a chance

I dislike Milo, sorry. It's one of the latest upper-class-style trends, and I just don't like the sound._____________________________________________________________________Elinor

It's cute, and growing on me, but I don't see it on an adult. And I think it's very trendy (I give it 5 years to the top 100).

Spelled as Mylo, I like it. Otherwise, no.

I love the name Milo, too. I tend to like names that end with that "O" sound, like Charlot and Marco. Like it much more than Miles.

Love it. It's cute for a little boy and will be cool when he grows up.

I love it. In my mind, Miles would be a spoilt rich kid who goes to a private school, so i don't like it; but Milo could be anyone :)--

Love it! One of my favourite combos is Milo Rupert. It's such a sweet and handsome name, it's hard not to be a fan of it. :)

I absolutley love Milo! It's old-fashioned, but not so much that a persons first thought would be 'Gosh, that name is so dated'. On top of that, It's my dad's mn. I love him, and if I were ever to honor someone with a boys name, I'd use Milo.

Love, love, love it. Miles nn Milo (or maybe Milo on it's own) has been my favourite name for months. So many names work with it. I've heard people say that it's a "cat name" but I like cats so it's no problem. lol.
