Thoughts? I think it's pretty stupid. Willoughby wolloughby willina, an elephant sat on Billina.

My thought is I agree.

It sounds like a flavor of gum or toothpaste.

Evergreen is better

My only exposure to this name was on a Christmas-themed Wolverine parody character, whose claws are made out of candy canes.I can't see it being seriously used as a first name. Maybe as a middle if it's a family surname, but ehhhhh...Even then I think it'd be difficult to get away with. It sounds kind of like a Crayola color to me. Like the color of snow-dusted pine needles. I just don't think it makes a very good name for a real person. But for a gruff elf, by all means, use it.

It's a nice name and sound for a character in a story (May steal it). But I hope no one out there is actually called Wintergreen. If they are I feel truly sorry for them. Being named after a gum or some kind of tree. Actually it reminds me of pine trees in a forest full of snow. If there is anyone out there called Wintergreen I apoligise.

wintergreen is not a proper name for a human and never will be. I agree it is pretty stupid (actually aloy stupid)However I don't mind Winter on a girl. This spelling only and not the tacky and juvenile Wynter spelling.

This... is a name? OK, wait, it's only had negative so far. Variety is needed.Well I LOVE IT, I would really like to name my child this as I've always wanted to raise a baby tree-gum-elf instead of a human, SO MUCH MORE INTERESTING. Also one of my lifelong aims has been having a child who is mercilessly teased- as you can see I am a heartless yet tree-loving person.Sorry, that was probably rather offensive to any Wintergreens out there... if there actually are any...

It is pretty stupid. But if you bite into it in the dark it makes a spark.

I'm trying to come up with a non-biased opinion, but with my association with the Live Saver's mint flavor is clouding that...man, I want a mint.

It's hilarious! That smell of muscle-warming embrocation hovers over it and throbs.

I love Winter, so in theory Wintergreen sounds nice, but it wouldn't work for a real person. Perhaps in a story.

Not a fan myself

I once knew a gum named that.

A gum flavor? For a pet, it might work, but not a person.

It sounds like a teenage girl who didn't realise she was special until the eve of her 16th birthday, and now has to fight the oppressive force that governs her nation because no one before her has been able to do so. Or a tree. It sounds like a tree, too.

Maybe I ought to take it to the Writing Room. ;)

It sounds like the name of an elf or fairy, not an actual person.
