Ophira
What do you think of the name Ophira? I saw a comedian with this name and I think it is similar enough to Ophelia without the "I'll feel ya" commentary to it.

I think its very pretty. I like Ophelia, too, and I hardly hear the "i'll feel ya", more like "Oh, feel ya." Like, "I understand you," haha.Back to Ophira. Very pretty sounds to it.

It sounds like "Oh, fear a" instead. Beyond that, it sounds sort of harsh/sharp to me, but I'm not sure why because I don't get that impression from Sapphira.
I've never heard the "I'll feel ya" comment about Ophelia, but it does make me think of suicide because I associate it pretty closely with Hamlet.I have heard of Ophira Eisenberg, though, and when I first saw her name I didn't really think anything positive/negative about it.

I think it's very pretty, like a combo of Ophelia and Sapphira. My main concern with Ophelia in the first name slot is that it's kind of long and doesn't call for any nicknames, but Ophira doesn't need one. Cool!As a sidenote, I've never understood the I'll-feel-ya-Ophelia thing. I pronounce a pretty long O at the beginning, and I don't really say -ya (more ee-a). I guess it depends on where you live/who's saying it!

Ophira is lovely. I like Ophelia, but that "I'll feel ya'" thing ruins it.Ophira is a great alternative and very pretty.
