Oren
Do you like the name Oren? Or does it have too much of a trendy feel to it.

Its nice enough, I know quite a few Orens so its seems a bit plain to me. I much prefer Ori, it sounds fresher and has a nicer meaning

This meas 'ears' in Dutch..

I don't see it as trendy at all. Since it's a Hebrew name, I'd probably best picture it on someone from a devout Jewish family.

I like it, and it doesn't feel trendy, but then I've been enough around Israelis not to have an "odd" vibe from Oren.

Just looked it up and I like the meaning & like the sound. It would never get used where I'm from though as it means 'orange', so I couldn't say if it's trendy.

Not trendy.
But I can't really picture it as name since it's she swedish word for "not clean"/"dirty".

My BFF just had a baby this summer and she named him Oren :) I like it alright. It has an old-timey feel to it that I really like, but I get what you mean about it coming off trendy even though usage has been declining and it hasn't broken the top 1000 in 50 years. It reminds me of hipster-y names like Milo, Atticus, Gus, etc which aren't bad names at all but definitely conjure a certain image of the types of folks who use them lolI almost kind of like a bit more than I used to because it remind me of The Witcher, as one of the in-game currencies is called an oren!

I don't mind Oren at all. And I don't think it feels too trendy. With the current naming pattern, but not overly trendy if that makes sense. Also the meaning is great!

Oren and Olen are both family names, and I'd use either as a MN.

It makes me think of old geezers. Because of Orrin - I think there's a US politician named that? Some conservative guy who's older than my mother. And because Oral and Orville give me the same impression. Doesn't seem trendy to me - doesn't "feel" at all like Orion, and only slightly like Owen.
