Romola
I was watching Suffragette yesterday (it was great!) and one of the actresses in the movie is Romola Garai, whom I had never heard of before. I really like the name Romola, it's both strong and sweet. The only thing I don't like about it is that it sounds a bit like Rommel...
WDYT about Romola?Does the sea exist
Because of our longing?

I like it in theory, but I'd feel awkward saying it. I think the sound reminds me too much of 'mula' (slang for money).

I say it like Ramallah, Palestine.

I like the name Romola, it's a strong and confident name. The actress is good - I liked her in Emma, I Capture the Castle, and Atonement.

I adore Romola! It's brassy and sophisticated, which are my two favorite onomastic qualities.

I've liked the name Romola since I saw her in film rendition of Vanity Fair.I think its pretty without being overly feminine.
