I think of Peach Melba (a dessert) and I have a hard time seeing as a person's name.

My mom's name was Melva so I guess I'm a little bias. I think it is okay to use.Melba Naomi
Melba Skye
Melba June
Melba Eloise
Melba Anne
Melba IrisBut I can see why people would think of the toast. But alot of names that are used are brands or becoming brands. It's up to you if you think it would be a problem or not. :)

Toast, and also peach melba. I can't get past that. Also, I don't think it's very pretty anyway.

I'd pair it with Toast. Melba Toast.
It's so ugly and outdated it's like a joke name.
