Which do you like better, or hate the least? "And by the way, dearie, your punctuation sucks canal water!"

I like both so this one is hard!I prefer Nathaniel to Nathan and I think I prefer Miles to Nathan...however I really love the nickname Nate and I like that more than Miles so I think I would actually choose Nathan.Nathan "Nate" wins

I actually really like both. My husband's name is Nathan.I would probably choose Miles because Milo is a really cute nickname. I don't like Nate or Nath.

NathanI see the appeal of Miles, but in the U.S. it's also a unit of measurement.

This made me think of an episode of "Mystery Science Theater 3000" which I saw. Joel and the bots were watching a movie which starred Miles O'Keeffe. When his name appeared on the screen, one of the bots asked, "How much Keeffe is in this movie?" One of them answered, "Miles O'Keeffe." LMAO.I thought it hilarious, but it doesn't keep me from loving the name Miles.

NathanMiles is weak. If Miles, Felix, and Theodore got into a fight, Miles would beat them both to a pulp, but that's like saying a bush gives more shade than a lawn does. Nathan is harsh and mediocre, but at least it's substantial.

MilesNathan is so 1982. I have a cousin named Nathan and I can't imagine him as a 70-something year old man. Sure it's fine now while he's younger but I think it fails to grow with you.

NathanThat could quite likely be New Kid's name if my husband didn't have an irrational hatred of it.

NathanBut both names are great

I like both, but prefer Miles. The coolest kid at my school was a Miles.

MilesNathan is fine, but Miles is great. Miles has 10 times the cool factor of Nathan.

I loathe and detest Nathan, so Miles wins hands down. But I wouldn't say I like it, or not enough to use it anyway. I know one Miles, and he's pleasant enough, so it isn't that. Perhaps it's just too much like the dictionary word, though I know it isn't really.

Nathan - like Aaron - became so common two or three decades ago that I shall have to say I prefer Miles. I know a seven-year-old Miles and like his name very much. I put it in the same trad but cool category as Piers
Although I do quite like Nathan I must say that I absolutely love Nathaniel and regret not using it when I had the chance!

MilesI don't really like either name, but I've never been able to take Nathan seriously for some reason? I love Nathaniel though.
