Winslow?
What are your thoughts on Winslow? As a surname, it was one of the Mayflower pilgrims, so thats what I think of when I hear the name. However, I guess its a fairly common stereotype name for butlers and big dogs, too. Thoughts?

I would have thought of Winston as more of the butler stereotype. Winslow is nice. Nerdy - which is a good thing in my books. Yup, nerdy with a dash of handsome and a pinch of fun. I could like it, I think.

Same here.In fact, Winston is the name of Lara Croft's butler from the Tomb Raider games.

I get Tortoise And The Hare vibes: Losefast, Winslow.

It doesn't seem like a dog name to me, nor like a butler. It seems to me the name of a man who would employ a butler, as well as a valet.

I love Winslow! It makes me think of the painter Winslow Homer. It's very classy and old-fashioned, yet too obscure to be hipster.

Although Winslow Homer's paintings are nice, Winslow makes me think of three other things:
1. Windows
2. The word "slow"
3. Onslow from Keeping up Appearances

Wasn't the name used in a 90's and 80's sitcom? I'm certain it was the surname of the main family of Family Matters?

Winslow was the name of the annoying blue mouse from the cartoon CatDog. I don't like it as a name.
