Opinions on Fox
Is Fox an acceptable first name, should it be used only as a middle name, or should it not be used at all? Would you ever use the name Fox? What kind of person do you imagine when you hear the name Fox?

I feel like if 'foxy' wasn't a thing, I would like Fox.

I love it as a mn, but I could never use it because of Fox News :( (Maybe Fawkes could be an alternative?) If you didn't mind that association, it's definitely usable as a first or middle.

I've been a fan of the X-files since the mid-90's and my first thought is always Fox Mulder when I see the name Fox. He is also the reason why I adore it. It's definitely a gp but I love to see others use it.
I don't think people remember Fox Mulder anymore. Fox is just another word name. I do know that the creator chose Fox because it was a ridiculous name. There's a scene where Scully calls him by his first name and he laughs and says that he even made his parents call him Mulder. I don't know if it's that bad. It's not worse than Bear or Wolf. I like those names as well.

Fox is definitely not 'uncommon' here (Australia) anymore. I know two babies named Fox and my cousin who is 14 would have been named Fox if she was a boy.I actually quite like it, it doesn't seem super trendy to me.
