Theda
I recently noted that Theda can be a nickname for Theodora and Theodosia. I like it because I dislike Dora, but I am not sure I like it better than Thea. WDYT?

I don't really like it, possibly because I've heard 'theta' more often, so the D seems awkward.I'd prefer Thedra as a NN for Theodora or Thea as a NN for Theodosia.

Theda Bara, the original vamp. :)I like it. It's dark and foreboding and I tend to like names like that.

I have a friend named Theda (THAY-duh). I like it because of her, but I'm not sure I'd be a huge fan if it weren't for her.

I can't get over the fact that it's an anagram for DEATH.

I don't really like it. It is harsh and makes me think of spiders for some reason. There was a famous actress with that name many many years ago but I can't remember her surname now. Thea is better but I also don't really like it. Dora is also better but again I don't care for it.
