I think Tabitha sounds extremely bratty. I can't think of Tabitha without thinking of "Bratitha" immediately. Any time I see an annoying girl, I refer to her in my head as "Bratitha." So many Bratithas on a daily basis.Tabitha is out of the question for me. Talitha is so much prettier, anyway.

I like it: good Beatrix Potter associations and a pleasant look and sound. The only problem I've got with it is that it shortens naturally to Tabby, which is rather too feline for me - though I'd shorten Katharine to Kitty without hesitation! Go figure.Anyway, for actual use I prefer Talitha, with its strongly feminist associations.

I love it as well--especially how "itha" shrouds the entire name into a veil of mystique.

Tabitha is lovely. I slightly prefer Talitha, and the nicknames Talia and Tally.

One of the few 'dated' names I really like. Tabitha just sounds so nice and appealing, bit feisty, really fun to say too.

I love Tabitha!

Love it. It's used in one my favorite sibling sets - Susannah, Tabitha, Rebekah, Samuel and Miriam.

It's kind of pretty and not overly common, but I'm neutral to it.

Meh it's alright. It has that dated yet delightful feel to it. Slightly hideous but at that same time, not entirely. If that makes sense. There's a similar name that I absolute love and prefer over Tabitha and that's Talitha. A beautiful alternative that I wish was more known.

I want to like it -- I love the meaning! -- but the name feels so stale to me. Talitha and Tacita, on other hand, completely enchant me.

I like it, but would only use it for a mn.

I LOVE Tabitha! Somehow to me both humble and mysterious, cute and sophisticated. The nickname Tabby is charming. Wish my FI liked it more.

I love it. It's just charming. I would love to see it used more often. But come to think of it, I did at one time have a co-worker named Tabatha. Bit of an unfortunate spelling IMO.

It's so cute! I love the nickname Tabby too. It is too low on my list to ever be a serious consideration but I would so love to see it on someone else.

Wow I just noticed...how much Tabitha has been falling :O Never expected this, I thought it was in the 200s or 300s or something but it is almost out of the top 1000.

It's not bad. Kind of comical somehow; it was the exact perfect name for the little girl in Bewitched.
