Oskar
Hi !!!I like this variant of Oscar because of Oskar Schindler.I love the film and I went to Krakow when among the others I visited his Factory that is now a wonderful interactive museum. That visit was great and all the info and rooms were detailed and moving so that place increase the affection for the historical figure. Are these ties too silly or weird to use Oskar maybe as MN?Bruno Dante Davide Fabrizio Flavio Giordano Giorgio Giulio Gregorio Leone Ludovico Massimo Michele Niccolò Romeo Valentino VittorioAgata Anastasia Cassandra Diana Elisabetta Luna Maia Morgana Stella

I think Oskar is a a good name, fresher than its variant, Oscar.

I don't like it much. I love Oscar, but would definitely use the regular spelling. I like Oswald, too.

I've liked this spelling for a while to ever since I found out I have a great great grandfather from Germany with this name. I don't think your reasoning is silly or weird at all.

Schindler would be a good person to name after, if you have to name after anybody.
I don't care for that particular spelling even if it is the authentic German spelling. Oscar is much more familiar in the US, and the name is reasonably popular, especially with Hispanic families. However, in the US it's also very strongly associated with the Muppet character Oscar the Grouch.

I think it will work as a MN.
