Diana
What do you think of Diana? Do you find it fashionable? Dated? Tell me anything that comes to mind :) Diane or Diana?I think that Diane might come back first but I'm not sure. I think there's something very calm and peaceful about Diane which I like. Diana is very lively.

I love Diana and Diane. If anything, Diane sounds slightly dated. Diana has never been super popular, at least where I am (England), but has never been rare, either. I don't associate it with any one age group, and feel that it is therefore classic, and not dated at all.

I love Diana. I don't think it's fashionable but I don't think it's dated either. Diane is more dated, but I also think it is beautiful.I mostly associate Diana with my very melodramatic aunt though so I don't think I'd ever use it.

I don't much mind Diane with a French pronunciation, but when it's dye-ANN it bugs me.Diana is very beautiful until it turns into Di. So I'd only ever consider it as a mn. Plus, I'm probably the only person who never fell for the charms of Prince Charles's late ex-wife, so it's got a negative memory built in.

Diane seems dated still. I like Diana better.

Diana is pretty although I'm not super fond of the English pronunciation (die-AN-uh). I worked with a woman from Costa Rica once who pronounced it dee-AH-nah which was lovely. The name will always remind me of Diana Spencer which isn't such a bad thing. I don't find Diana dated at all whereas Diane seems quite dated to me.

I love Diana. It has always been one of my favorites. I like Diane too, but I would only use it as s middle name if it flows better.

Diana is a very lovely name, but it's dropped a lot in the past ten years, so it's well on its way to being dated. Diane is only slightly less nice, but dated as all get-out.

I like it! It's a little dated, but not so much that I think it's an issue. Obviously the Princess comes to mind, and I much prefer Diana as I'm not a fan of Diane at all. That's dated for sure. Maybe with the release of the Wonder Woman film the name will rise in the charts! It does have a similar sound to Olivia, Sophia, etc.

I've always thought Diana was beautiful. I think of it as a very different name than Diane. Kind of like Julia and Julie. Diana seems elegant to me and I can see it coming back in maybe 20 years or so. I think it'll take Diane longer. I hope it will.

I like Diana more because of the Wonder Woman film. It felt quite dull before, but it feels more badass now. I'm still not 100% convinced (it just doesn't sound very fun when I say it) but I can maybe see that having an impact. Diane still feels very dated to me, and doesn't have the Wonder Woman or goddess connection to help.

I really like Diana, it's glamorous in a classic kind of way and I don't believe it will ever truly become unfashionable.
Diane feels much more dated.
