Julius
WDYT?How does it sound with a surname that begins with Sh- (like "Sherman") Okay, or too much like Julia's Herman? Is that a problem? Combo if you feel like it

I like it, and have no idea about Julia's Herman.

I don't think pairing it with your last name is a deal breaker, but it does need to be enunciated. But how often would someone call out Julius Shlastname and the context wouldn't make it obvious who they meant and they weren't saying Julia? Meh.But, Julius. I only think of Orange Julius. I guess that wouldn't be an issue for a Julius born theses days.

I like Julius, but I think it sounds quite bad with your surname to be honest. Maybe Julian instead, or use it as a middle name?

Haha, I can't use it as a middle name if I can't think of any more first names I like. Boys names are killing me lately.

I love Julius! I'm always torn between Julius and Jules. I also love Julian, Juliana, Julia, and Juliette. There's something about that Jul-sound I like.I wouldn't have noticed the Julia's Herman thing if you hadn't pointed it out. I think it sounds fine. Julius Basil
Julius Clement
Julius Damian
Julius Cosmo
Julius Desmond
Julius Emile
Julius Everett
Julius Hadrian
Julius Leon

I reallly like it. It definitely has an older, classic feel, but it could work for someone of any age. I'd pair it with another classic, Latin or Greek name:Julius Alexander
Julius Fabian
Julius Hadrian
Julius Octavian
