I really like Dallas, I think its name that would suit a boy/ man of any age. Hate it on girls though.

I don't really like it. It works the best for a woman imo.

Did you mean to use three Ls, or was that just a typo? The only person named Dallas I know is a middle-aged man (who is actually from Dallas, TX). I can see it working for a woman, though. Names don't have to be gendered.

I kind of like it for a boy, but it’s not something I’d ever use.

One test I use for a name is whether it sounds more natural with "doctor...", "judge...", etc., or whether it sounds more natural with "please welcome to the stage the luscious...". This name fails the test big time. Male or female.

In spite of the fact that I dislike the city Dallas, and despite the fact that I dislike what I consider to be "rugged cowboy" names in general, and Dallas qualifies, I like Dallas for a boy. I'd never use it because I dislike the city, but I like it. I think its use as the name for a character in "Gone With The Wind" pre-disposed me to like it.On a girl, however, it's beyond horrid.

Dallas is a guilty pleasure of mine. It doesn't mesh well with the names of my other children so I'd most likely not ever use it. I suppose it could be used for a woman, however, it seems pretty masculine to me.

I love it, for a boy. I have a male cousin named Dallas. But on a girl, it's just plain silly!

Should be Dallas (not Dalllas)
