For some reason I can see this being a new trendy place name in the future. Just for fun, if you had to use it on either a boy or a girl which one and why?

I’m really not a fan of place names. If I had to use Monaco, I think it would be more suited to a girl.

Because it sounds like Monica (also would seem similar to Monserrat), and I feel like feminine names that end in o are trending now (or at least more so than they have in the recent past). Plus it reminds me of Grace Kelly and monacles...I thought women with monacles were cool when I was a kid...
If I was naming a boy after a place that started with M and ended with O, I'd prefer Morocco.

I don't know, but probably a boy. Not a fan of countries as names for some reason, but I find states okay.

Boy! Monaco on a girl sounds weird; plus, why not name her Monica instead?
