I do not. I do tend to like month names in general- I love May and August, like June and can even get on board with January. But I don’t know if it’s the ape sound or the popularity of the name when I was growing up, but it has a very unsavoury vibe for me. It’s my birth month, as well as my daughter’s, but I truly don’t care for it as a name.

I think it's very nice.

My favorite month name for a girl (:

No. The only month name I enjoy is May, and that's because I think of it as a flower name. For some reason, a lot of trans guys used to choose April as their fem name once they needed one. This doesn't seem to be the case now, but I know it used to puzzle me. The springtime of a new life, perhaps? And would that be why it's often used for babies? Of all the names with a youthful image, April is the one I have most difficulty in imagining on a grandmother.

Maybe after April Ashley? (Who I met once. She was great.)

I like it but I feel it suits young girls more than older women. My favourite month name is January.

Yes, I do, a lot. It's soft and pretty and does a better job than most word names of calling to mind the image of that word.

Kind of. As long as it isn't paired with another month name like May... such as April May, which bothers me a lot.

Nope. Not pretty. Starts with "ape". I like January, May, June, July, and December for girls, but not April.
