Felix & Hugo
I'm down to 6 names, but I have a pretty good idea of what his name will be. I think I might be suffering separation anxiety from the other names though, so still looking for comments and feedback. So, what are your thoughts on Felix and Hugo? Be brutally honest if that's what you want. Felix is a brand name here as well, but mainly associated with food and especially ketchup. That association doesn't bother me though.
Let us step into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure. PNL: http://www.behindthename.com/pnl/45898

Tricky! In English, I prefer Hugo, but using the Dutch pronunciation I lean towards Felix. I like them both, in different ways, I suppose so if it were me, I'd see what he looks like when he arrives. My first daughter was going to be Lucy, but when she was born it just didn't work. No clue why: how can a newborn look like or unlike any particular name? But I worked through a list in a names book until I found that she looked like Caroline, and used it. Never did get my Lucy daughter, but it didn't matter in the end.

Felix makes me think of the cat. Not a bad thing, but just saying. It's a good name I think. It would make my top 50 names, but not higher than that. It's got a good meaning.Hugo is a good name. I like that it's short and not nicknamey at the same time. I like that in a name. It would make my top 15 names and is even a contender for the top 10 names for a real son. It makes me think of Victor Hugo a little, which is a fine namesake. Another is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hugo_Grotius which isn't a bad namesake either. Not knowing yet what you might go with, I'm still feeling free to share that I was personally hoping you'd go with (in order of preference) Hugo, Maximilian or Felix. I love these names. Theodore or Oliver would be the bottom 2 of your six (as I think to remember you had them). Theodor would make it a little better, but still no contender for Hugo or Maximilian for me. All names you're considering are good solid decent names to have though and no matter what he can't complain about any. And I think you've dropped Alvar, which I REALLY ADORED a while ago already...Best of luck with your pregnancy and I'm actually more than a little curious as to what his name will be in the end :)

Hugo seems very old man to me, but I love Felix! I don’t hear the Feel-licks that others say they do. It’s a very handsome, refreshing name for a baby, young boy or a man.

Both are great names, they'd be gorgeous for brothers actually. Felix is a fave of mine, we considered using it for DS#2 and also for this baby, but I don't think we will go with it. The Biblical connection is the only thing that puts us off using it.

Hugo does give me more of a bookish vibe, but I assume that's because I associate it with Victor Hugo. Felix does make me think of the cat and pewdiepie, so a bit more childish.

I agree with Felie. Hugo feels nerdy and bookish to me. He’s quiet, creative, and gets really interested and invested in things. Felix is more energetic and playful, he’d be friendly and sociable. I like both, but Hugo is definitely my favourite. I just love the feel he has so much.

Hi !!!In my mind Hugo has quite a nerdy vibe (nerdy like intelligent). It is a positive thing because I imagine a Hugo who loves reading and painting. Felix has a stronger vibe.
I imagine an unruly boy who is also a talented hacker. I like both.
