Andie
Not Andy for a boy, Andie, for a girl.Thoughts? What would you use as a full name? Hmm. Your ideas are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

I wouldn't use it as a full name, but I don't mind it as a nickname for Andrea.

Seems childish as a full name, cute as a nn for Andrea.

I kinda like Andy for a boy, short for Andrew, though it does have an aw-shucks, retro kind of feel to it.
But Andi for a girl, I just don't like it. It makes me think of some annoying Valley Girl from the eighties, all big hair and Spandex and cracking gum and stupid talk.
If I liked it I'd say use it for Andrea. Maybe Amanda or Alexandra, if you're desperate to stand out from the Amandas and Mandys and Alexes and Allies and Lexis.

Someone moved into my building named this, and when I saw the name tag (this is a dorm so the RA makes everyone's door a name tag, with their full name) I was like...really? Your parents put Andie down on the birth certificate? I don't like it. Andi would be much better.
