Ermintrude
I just woke up last night thinking “Ermintrude... how do people feel about that name?” and fell back asleep. So here you go haha. What do you think of it?

I love it. The cow from the magic roundabout, probably why I find it cute. Just would struggle to name a child it. Not just the dated sound, but also sharing a name with a well known fictional cow.

I love it. It has a quiet strength.

I feel like it would be a fantastic name for a cat.

I don't know why, but I always picture this name on a cartoon mouse.

It's cute in an old-fashioned and slightly awkward way. I think it would make a great name for a character in a children's story, so I used it for one of the animals in the children's book survey that someone else inquired about.

It’s pretty terrible. In Sophie Kinsella’s shopaholic books there’s a recurring joke about the protagonist ‘s imaginary aunt Ermintrude.

Oh, I love Ermintrude! It's bursting with character. I prefer Gertrude and Ermengarde, though.

It's definitely weird / ugly, but I kind of like it.

I really dislike it. When I say names are dated, I usually mean "Jennifer is stuck in the 20th century". With Ermintrude it's "stuck in the 13th century". The first two syllables remind me of vermin.
