Solomon
What do you think of the name Solomon? It was my great-grandfather's name, and I'm starting to find it quite fetching.

I like it. Sol is a cool nn, too.

I think it's... my last name, so I may very well use it, since there will be only one boy to pass it on.

I love it! It is a family name for me as well, belonging to one of my favorite cousins. He went by Solly as a child, which was very cute and fit his infectious personality to a "T," and goes by the more grown-up sounding Sol as an adult.

I really like it, but I prefer the French form Salomon, or the Hebrew form Shlomo...

I like the name, in fact it is on my 'possible to use' list. The story of King Solomon is very interesting and gives the name a good connection.

I love it! I like Solly as a nick name

It could make a good middle name, and the family connection is good. Besides, it's a little different which I always like. But the sound of "Solomon" isn't attractive to me :-(

I like it a little - I'm not sure I would use it, not even as a middle name, although I am into some unusual names. I'll have to ask my sister what she thinks - knowing her she'd probably like it. But if you like it, then I think that's great!**Lani**

I like it. You hardly ever hear it unless in association to the Bible. I like the sound of it, not too many other names out there like it so it sounds unique in it's own way.

Although I personally would only use it for a mn, I think it's very handsome.
