Sophia
What do you think of Sophia? I prefer it spelt Zsofia but I also like Sophia/Sofia, here are some other variants:Sofiya (bulgarian)
Sofija (latvian)
Soffía (icelandic)
Zofia (polish)
Zsofia (hungarian)
Sophie (french)I noticed a lot of people think this name is too common so I’d like to see your opinions on the name.

Hi !!!I still think that it is overused everywhere.

I agree that it's very overused, but it has a fantastic meaning, and reminds me of an intelligent, if slightly cold woman.

It's not madly common where I live! And I like it a lot; it looks and sounds distinguished. I much prefer it to Sophie. And here in South Africa we use the UK pronunciation - soFIEa - in English and soFEEa in Afrikaans, which adds interest to social situations.

Sophia is a lovely and gorgous name. Very practical and aethetically pleasing. I prefer the spelling as is and I like it over Sophie, which is a nice, solid name as well but does makes me think of the word, soapy. /:

Most of the variants are very pretty, but I'd use only Sophie and maybe Sophia

I think Sophia and all of its variants are very nice. However, so do a lot of other people, which has made it far too popular in my area.
