Hey guys! I would like to know what stereotypes, and ethnicities, and all of that that you think of when you think of the name Ava. Please don't hold back tho! It is my name, but I have enough self confidence to not bothered by anything that you say:-) thanks!!

Ava is the name of an old lady from the 1970s. Basically old enough to not be grandma by today's standards and instead sound fresh

I love it. I like the simplicity and the balance. Stereotypes or ethnicities aren't really ringing a bell though. Maybe usually white.

I can't really think of any stereotypes, but I'd assume an Ava was American, English, or Iranian. I think it's an inoffensive, but boring name, and I prefer Ada or Eva.

I also prefer Ada to Ava.. My great-grandmothers name was Ada, so my parents could have gone with it for me! Oh well... Maybe I could change it...

To me it kinda seems basic white girl-ish. But if pronounced Ah-va, I love it so much.

Lol! I'm anything BUT basic white-girl lol.. My dad is Black, and my mom is 100% Iranian (Persian).. Thx for the feedback tho! I prefer it pronounced AH-vuh as well, but my parents didn't unfortunately.. They did give me a super cool middle name tho!!

I really like it. I usually prefer long, sophisticated names but I love the simplicity of Ava even though it’s becoming quite popular. I much prefer it to Ada or Ida

I just think it’s a very clean, no-fuss, safe-to-use name. My favorite female name is Iva, so naturally I appreciate Ava as well.
