I think its ok. I think its a name well accepted by any raceI like Marcus with the following mn - Christopher, Henry, Simon, Richard, Thomas and Florian

Yep, I would use it for a son. Probably call him Marc. WITH A CEE - poor kid.There's no particular image or personality (except that it's very masculine and Mars-y) - it's just classicky, an empire name.

I much prefer Marcus to Mark. Not enough to use, though. I like Marcus Richard and Marcus Nigel.

Marcus always reminds me of the movie/book “About a Boy”. What I can remember it’s the name of the boy. Marcus Simon is very handsome and timeless (without being boring).
