I used to work with a Taryn. In a way it doesn't make sense that I don't like it, since I like Maren and feel like I would have liked Karen back in the day, and Taryn rhymes with them. But Taryn has always seemed aggressive and mean to me, I think because it makes me think of the word "talon".
