Jett
What do you think of Jett?Would you use it for a boy, or a girl? **Starfish and coffee, maple syrup and jam/Butterscotch clouds, a tangerine, and a side order of ham**

It's too plane-y. I think it sounds masculine.

Sounds kind of cool but I hate flying so no. It's all masculine to me.

My cousin has a kid called Jett whose actual name is James IV.One of my sister's old friends has a daughter named Jetts.I think it's ugly but peppy and unisex. For a girl it seems between Jade, Georgette, and Greer. For a boy it seems between Rhett, Chet, Jay, and Chase.

I know a guy in real life named Jett. He's in his mid 30s. It suits him. His has jet black hair. I like it on either gender, and I like the spelling Jette.

Juliet nn JetJet(t) as a nickname for Juliet is one of my favorite ideas.

I suppose that, about 70 or so years ago it would have had a really zingy, macho, exciting feel, which space travel killed stone dead. Now, instead of cutting-edge aviation, it's just a shiny black gemstone, which means a sex change from hypermale to dainty female. So, IRL right now, I'd say girl. In fiction, it would depend on when the story happened.

Not my favorite, but it’s alright. Strictly masculine, though, unless you use Jette as a nickname for Jeannette.

Don't like it. Only for a boy

I like Jett as a middle name for a boy. We're actually considering it for one of our future boys.

I don’t like it, but don’t hate it. It’s just not my style.
I’d definitely use it for a boy though, I think it’s quite hideous for a girl.
And for sure, only as a middle name.

I like it. I think it leans more toward a masculine name but it could very easily be used as a girl’s name. The -ett reminds me of the feminine ending of -ette. It could also be used in a double fn for a girl: Mary Jett, Anna Jett, Emma Jett.

I love Jett for a boy. I can’t picture it on a girl.
