Dylan, Dallas, Dana
What do you think of these three names?Which one do you like, best?If you can think of a better unisex name starting with D, what is it? **Starfish and coffee, maple syrup and jam/Butterscotch clouds, a tangerine, and a side order of ham**

I really like Dallas! I probably wouldn't use it in real life, but, along with Desmond, it is a surname that I like as a boy's first name. The city and football team make it more of a guilty pleasure.Dana is the only one of the three that I really consider unisex.
Diyar is unisex, but it sounds wordy even if it is a Kurdish name.
Dakota is cute but confrontational in PC circles.
Devin is handsome, but I prefer it on boys.

I like Dylan for a boy. I don't particularly care for Dallas or Dana.I like Darcy and Devon/Devin for boys and Dominique for girls.

Dylan is nice I like it on both, although I like it more on a girl, plus its sorta dated on a boy. But I wouldn't see myself using it, but it's a great name. Dallas is okay, but I don't care for either gender. Same goes with Dana, it's ok. I slightly like Dayna more on a girl and I like Dana on a boy. I wouldn't use either because it's dated. The other unisex name I like is Drew.

I don't really think of any of these as unisex (though I know they technically are). Dylan and Dallas are all boy, and Dana is all girl. I'd go with Dana for a girl and Dylan for a boy.

I like Dallas the best, for a boy only. As a personal name, but I wouldn't use it in a million years because I despise the city in Texas.

Dylan is the best of the three. I prefer it as a feminine name.
Dana is the most unisex, but the one I dislike the most. Too short, yet has 3 pronunciation options in 4 letters. So confusing!
Dallas is all masculine. The association with the city and the TV series makes it unusable in my opinion.Others to consider: Dale, Darcy, Daryl, Delaney.

I love Daryl for a girl, if only for Daryl Hannah.I also like Darcy, but it's all girl, to me. Not really unisex.

Does Dana sound like DAYna? Here, it sounds like DAHna and is a nn (in Afrikaans) for Daniel.Dallas is just another place name; I've never met one.Dylan, now ... definitely masculine and very definitely on my playlist.

I like Dallas best. I do not like the name Dana at all. Others to consider are Devon/Devin and Dustin or Dusty.

I like Devin.

Dana's pleasant, sensitive and stoic maybe. I feel somewhat like it's Ezra, Danielle, and Allie in one name. Dallas sounds okay, but I automatically disdain it because hating the Dallas Cowboys is probably the oldest, deepest prejudice I have (I don't even care about football).Dylan is what one of my childhood friends called her Ken doll, so mainly it makes me think of barbies...also poetry and tides. It's not a fav, but it's alright.
I sometimes like Demetri as unisex. I like Dara, mainly as a masculine name, though.
There's also Dominique, which I like as a unisex name but wouldn't use myself except possibly as a MN.
Maybe Dale, Drew, Dorian, Davian. But I'd use Dana over those.

I don't care for Dana but I prefer it on girls.

Dana is the best!Dylan feels gross and Dallas dated. I had a female university student with that name and I think of her.

I love Dallas for a boy, and also really like a Dylan for a boy. I don’t care for Dana as a boy name, even though it my my Ob doctors name and I absolutely loved him.

Dylan is okay, on a boy. Dallas is just barely okay, I think of it as just slightly more feminine than masculine. Dana is all feminine to me even though I know of a couple male Danas. I like Dana for a girl and that's my pick.
