WDYTO Meredith?

What do you think of the name Meredith, for a middle name on a girl? I wouldn't use it in the first name position (I don't think). I have a good friend with this name, so if I ever used it it would be "honoring". What are your thoughts? What first names would you give Meredith, or what middle names? Thanks!

I really like Meredith, as a fn or a mn. I have a few friends with this name, and I've even met a girl whose name was spelled Meredyth. Wow. :b I think it could work with many of your favorites, like Lilah Meredith or Hannah Meredith. :)

Meredith is a beautiful name!I think that something shorter, possibly with 2 syllables would sound best as a first name to Meredith, something along the lines of Ava Meredith, Ella Meredith, Lilah Meredith, Lily Meredith, etc.

Thanks!I like Ava Meredith, Ella Meredith, and Lilah Meredith. Do you think that this name is also a good first name? I love it in the middle name position, but I would love to use the nn Mere (on occasion).

Meredith is definitely a good first name in my opinion. I've even considered using it. Mere is a cute nickname : )

I really like the name. I think it could go with a variety of first names depending on your last name, anything from the very popular Jessica/Emily/Isobel etc to a much more unusual name.
