No offense or anything, but NO WAY to Blake on a girl!!!Blake on a boy even is pushing it for me, but NO WAY on a girl!!! NEVER!!! EVER!!!However, I appreciate your liking of it and I can see how some people would see it as trendy and cool. Not ME, obviously, but some people out there...!*

So many people like boys' names on girls. I'm more interested in what girls' names you might like for boys. It goes both ways, right?

I like Blake for a boy but not for a girl. For a girl I think Blakely is pretty.

I know a girl name Blaque, pronounced Blake. I have known her for years and it still hasn't normalized her name. I don't care for it.

I like it for a boy. Don't care for it on a girl, though I can see the appeal. It's loads better than Blayke at any rate.

As a mn, and if it is a family name, then fine. Otherwise, no.

I like it. I knew a girl born in the late 80’s with the name Blake. I love those BL names like Blake, Blythe, and Blaire on girls.

So am I. I blame exposure to it. LolI think Blakely is cute as well.

Blake is blech. On a boy, it's trying too hard, like the male version of Melissa. "Oh, I'm Blake, I'm sharp, strong, and handsome! Wooo-weeee". On a girl, it's awful. Way too hard and sharp.
