Agnes & Oskar
Just finished watching The Tin Drum. Any thoughts on the mother son combo? FYI the movie came out in 1979 but was set in the thirties/fourties war time Poland. Thanks

It’s funny because my grandfather was called Oskar (born in the 40s) and his mum was Agnes. I love Oskar so much I would use it (but maybe more as a mn) and I quite like Agnes too. Was the movie good? I might watch it.

Oh, man, it was crazy good, but also crazy. Very sad, twisted, and moving. It made me cry. I think it's my new favorite movie. I watched it free on Bing.com

Dislike Agnes, Oscar is ok

Dislike both. I do love some variations of Agnes, like Inez/Ines. But I can't get behind Agnes itself. Not a fan of Oskar either. I'm surprised it seems to be making a bit of a comeback.

It's interesting that Oskar is now seen as young and trendy, but Agnes isn't.They're both respectable names. I hate Aggie though.
