I'm just curious about what people think of the name Fenella as my little sister was nearly called this. She was really called Imogen Grace btw.Eleanor

I really dislike this name, but unsure why - it just has something I dont like about it. Fenella Fudge didnt help either. Imogen Grace is much nicer.

Fenella is quite sweet, actually. I also like Finella (which has the nn option of Fin/Finn...and I usually dislike unisex names on girls, even nn's). I love Imogen, though. :)

Fenella is a lovely name, but I think Imogen Grace is better. I always picture Fenella as a deceitful person, whereas I picture Imogen Grace as a gorgeous, open-minded girl.

Just thought it was a funny coincidence! And not a bad book... At least not when I read it a few years ago!

As an Anglicisation of Fionnghuala, I prefer the look and sound of Finola to Fenella. But Fenella's not something I'd have an aneurysm over or anything. *Lol*Imogen Grace is a pretty name.

I really like it; it's one I doubt I'd use, but I think it's nothing short of gorgeous.Array
