Filomena
What do you think of Filomena?I like it, but it is not one of my favourites. It's dated, although it has a "cutesy" vibe that makes this name low-key fashionable. This is the name of a current European windstorm.

I prefer Philomena myself (there's something about that Filo- beginning that makes the name look dried-out to me), but I love the sound of the name overall. I saw the snow that overtook Madrid - it's incredible!

It's a cute name, but not too cutesy. I prefer the Philomena spelling, though.

I like it. It has that "delightfully old-timey" feeling. The spelling Philomena is alright, too.

Filomena is pretty. It’s not a favourite though and I certainly wouldn’t use it even as a mn. It is miles better than the clunky Philippa and the spelling is way nicer than Philomena.

I like it some, prefer Philomena actually.

It reminds me of the pastry dough. I think it sounds rather whiney..

I love it. My husband has a Philomena a few generations back in his family tree. She was called Philly, which I find both cute and spunky. I could totally see that on a young girl today. Can't decide which spelling I prefer, though.
