I have to admit that I kinda like it. Michael is a classic. I find it a little boring but I’ve known some amazing Michael’s and I like the timelessness of it. Esther is reasonably popular for kids in Denmark. My best friend were going to name their baby (due in December 2020) Esther. Turned out they got a Noah instead. Catriona is a name that I still to this day mispronounce in my head. Thanks to the spelling, I feel that it sticks a little out. Katrina, Esther and Michael seem more in harmony to me. But I like it.

Catriona feels like she was named by different people. Esther & Michael are Biblical classics, whereas Catriona is very Gaelic. Individually they are good names.

I like Catriona a lot. Esther ... better than Hester, and I've known a very nice one, but I'd never use it. Michael is a splendid name but it was too popular for its own good and so would be mn only for me.As a set, Esther seems to be the odd sib out: Michael goes with anything, and would be fine with Esther as a biblical theme, but Catriona isn't biblical so scratch Esther as being more biblical than Michael. Instead of Esther ... Helen?

I like Catriona and Michael. Simple, yet elegant.I don't see any special connection between the names, but I don't think that siblings are to have themed names.
