I preferred it when I thought it was pronounced kas-ee-o-PAY-ə. However, the correct pronunciation is apparently kas-ee-o-PEE-ə, which appeals to me far less. :-(It's for this reason that I prefer Cassia (KAS-ee-ə).

It's pretty and interesting, but I'd still pick Cassandra over it every time

I don't really like it

Someone I know loves this name and its pronunciation is much prettier in their language: Cass-ee-oh-PAY-ah. In terms of Cass-names, this one is among my favourites. Cassiopeia is one of the few constellations I can remember and occasionally find, I always look for it. I think it's a lovely name and I wish I saw it used more often on real people! I rather like that it's tied to the concept of vanity, it makes it so dramatic. The Cassiopeia supernova is incredibly beautiful.

I don’t mind it. I like its length, and I tend to like mythological names. Honestly the only thing I don’t really like is the Cass- beginning, as I dislike the nickname Cass. I always want to love these names (like Cassius), but I never quite can.I know some people will dislike the ending having the “pee” sound, but that doesn’t bother me. I love Calliope and Pia which have similar sounds.
