I love Taliesin! The association with the famous welsh bard and the legends that wove around his life make it a colorful name. I would only use it as a middle name, but I would love to meet someone with it as a first name. I don't care for Tali.

I know one who goes by Tal. I think it’s ok.

It feels like the name of a knight in an Arthurian legend, I like it, but Tali doesn't do it justice.
