What do you think? I personally like it.

It sounds wholesome to me, contrary to the famous story. I like it as unisex. It reminds me of Solomon, Salvador, and Esme.

I really like it! I pronounce it like SAL-o-may, and think it's quite beautiful. I don't love the biblical association, but I'd consider it as a middle name.

I saw this name in a cemetery the other day, a Salome born in 1897 or something, and just loved it. I enjoy the same Salome, but then, I'm into "femme fatale" energy.

Hi !!!I like this name!
I prefer it spelled and pronounced in Italian: Salomè (sah-loh-MEH).I think that it is charming and particular. I much prefer it than overly used names such as Sophia or Emma...The negative Christian figure doesn't bother me at all. The name means "peace" and has a lovely literarian, operatic vibe.

It's hard to know how to pronounce, which is a dealbreaker for me. Also reminds me of salami. And the only association the vast majority of people will have is a gal who did a sexy dance for her stepfather's friends at her mother's request and got some poor guy's severed head on a plate as her reward, again at Mama's request.
