How to get the nickname Mel/Melly?
I’ve been trying to brainstorm ways to get the nickname Mel or Melly without using the usual Melanie, Melissa, or Melinda. (Or Melania, which has been tainted now). So far have come up with Clementine and Melita, but would love some other suggestions.

Emmeline, Amelia, possibly Emily though it’s a bit of a stretch.

https://www.behindthename.com/names/gender/feminine/pattern/*mel* except the link excluded the last asterisk for some reason, so add that too.

My birth name is Melissa and my best friend is Melita! We were both Mellys unfortunately (smelly Melly). I definitely prefer Millie. Clementine works well I think and Melita is a very pretty name. Maybe Melanthea?
