Ksenia
I've long loved Xenia; as of yesterday, I love Ksenia, too. The crackling "ks" excites me, and the name is glamorous yet grounded. What do you think? (I'm an English-speaking American, by the way, though I studied Russian for four years and lived in the Balkans for one year.)Here are some combos:Ksenia Araminta
Ksenia Artemisia
Ksenia Marguerite
Ksenia Isidora
Ksenia Leontina
Ksenia Raffaella / Raphaela
Ksenia Nymphodora
Ksenia Nimue
Ksenia Leonora
Ksenia Theodora
Ksenia Atalanta
Ksenia Fortunata
Ksenia Felicitas
Ksenia Octavia
Ksenia Theolinda
Ksenia Iphigenia
Ksenia Iolanthe
Ksenia Ianthe
Ksenia Ingrid
Ksenia Rosamund
Ksenia Phoebe
Ksenia Mariamna / Mariamne
Ksenia Miriam
Ksenia Muriel
Ksenia Flavia
Ksenia Frederica
Ksenia Leopoldina / Leopoldine

I love Ksenia and Kseniya. It's pretty, fun to say, and stands out. I actually would use it (probably as a middle name) in real life, I like it that much. I like Xenia too, but if you're wanting it to start with a 'ks' rather than 'z' sound, the vast majority of English speakers are gonna go for 'z' for Xenia... Ksenia's more difficult to 'get wrong'. I like:Ksenia Marguerite
Ksenia Leonora
Ksenia Theodora
Ksenia Octavia (love both these names)
Ksenia Iolanthe (ia io is a bit awkward and clunky, but I've been into Iolanthe recently)
Ksenia Ingrid
Ksenia Rosamund
Ksenia LeopoldineI also like:Ksenia Allegra
Ksenia Antigone
Ksenia Eleanora
Ksenia Francesca
Ksenia Genevieve
Ksenia Josephine
Ksenia Laurel
Ksenia Lucille
Ksenia Ludovica
Ksenia Melusine
Ksenia Ottilie
Ksenia Rosalind
Ksenia Sibylla
Ksenia Tamar
Ksenia Vivienne

I love it! The 'ks' sound is unique and it blends into the beautiful 'enya' so nicely. I love the meaning too. My best friend is Russian and we talk about names a lot - she once told me I'd suit the name Ksenia if I were Russian. I immediately fell in love. It's a pity I could never really use it on a child, as my Russian heritage is too far back and my Polish heritage is practically non-existent. I'll have to be content with loving it from a distance.*

I knew a very nice Ukrainian lady with this name when I was a kid. I always thought it seemed exotic yet friendly.

I like it a lot, it feels quirky and fun. And it's Polish, which is also nice. I'd go with Ksenia Leokadia.

I absolutely love this name. But, and this is very subjective, it also has a vibe to it that I can't shake - it is to me kind of like Crystal or Desiree or Porshe are to some English speakers. I don't know how it happened or why or when. I guess it's mostly due to it sounding like a diminutive without a full form, like it's unduly cutesy and improper, as if it was trying to be chummy with everyone a bit too hard.Still it's an absolutely beautiful name and I hope I can eventually stop my mind from trying to ruin it for me.I especially love Ksenia Octavia.
